Kirsten & Wes
They met in Winter Park, Florida. Kirsten was studying film and Wes Audio Engineering. They were engaged within 4 months of laying eyes on each other! They began planning a movie-theme wedding, with a Hollywood premiere, red carpet, velvet ropes, & a marquee with their names in lights! Melissa Rivers (look alike) did interviews and the Paparazzi videotape the whole event.

The hunt for the right veil
The dress was easy to find for Kirsten, she found her gown after just a couple trips. The gown was Ivory & taupe with a full skirt, sweetheart neckline, rose accents and a crystal broach. Finding the veil was another story. She first saw a veil in Saks on Rodeo drive that she fell in love with, but the price was exorbitant to say the least. The veil was something that reminded her of a "Pillbox" hat but without the hat & made with french tulle. She had no idea were to go, or who could create her special veil. So the hunt began.....

She found "Unveiled"
After weeks of shopping and web searching she finally discovered the term "birdcage", but still could not find exactly what she was looking for. THEN she came across "Unveiled Bridal Designs" site and knew that Dorene was the person to make her vision come to life!

Custom veil for a unique wedding!
After a few back and forth e-mails Dorene created Kirsten's dream veil. She desired a short, close to the face French tulle veil. It needed to be comfortable enought to wear all night, roomy enough to fit her desired hair style.
The ivory French tulle Birdcage with ostrich feathers & silk hand rolled roses with crystal accents were a perfect match to her dress. Everyone complimented her on how her "eyes" looked huge. The veil was so comfortable she barely knew it was there. For a bride who did not like veils, this veil was perfect and added the finishing touch to her special look!

Unique in every way!
The colors were rainbow, and instead of flowers Kirsten went with crystal bouquets made from Swarovski crystals and pearls. She held an amber and clear bouquet and each maid held their own color. The men wore white suits, colored t-shirts and sunglassed to give that "Miami Vice" look. God blessed them with beautiful weather and the wedding was a hit! They are now settled in on Staten Island running Perwinkle Films (www.periwinklefilms.com ) an all occassion videography business.
