Brent and I met in fall of 2006. We both work in construction, so of course we met at “our” job site… very romantic LOL!
A year after, I took him to Venezuela to meet the parents and to attend a best friends’ wedding, and he popped the question on the way there, without a ring! Long story short, ring was not ready, but he was ready to talk to the parents :)

I planned and executed my whole wedding. I wanted our wedding to be very personal, and to include all the special people in our lives.
We also included our hairy, language-impaired, 85 lbs baby dog Pumba :) He carried the rings down the aisle (they were tied to his collar). I also wanted every detail to make our guests feel special and remember our wedding for years to come.

Dog collar holding rings!

My dress was so unique and different that a traditional veil would not have worked.

I had seen Kayo in the magazine The Bridal Guide, and had fallen in love with her veil… so I took the magazine to the bridal salon, and they attempted 3 times to give me the veil I wanted… after the third one, I called the magazine and I found Dorene!!!! I can’t express how excited I got when I first logged into her web page and I saw Kayo on her site… finally the perfect veil :)

Working with Dorene was awesome! I contacted her 3 weeks before the wedding and after a couple of emails, she knew exactly what I wanted and I got my veil within a week! Everyone at the wedding was in love with the look, and to this day I’m still getting compliments about it :)

Our wedding photographer was phenomenal! Her name is Maria Baiz and she gave us the best memories of our wedding we could have asked for. Check her website www.mariabaiz.com

Thanks again for your interest and for reading about our story.
And to Dorene, thanks a million! Tons of blessings for you and your family!
