This stunning hat is created for the bride who is longing for that 1940’s vintage hat feel but with a modern twist.

The hat

This shape-able Teardrop Hat is made with a high quality hat base, all created exclusive by Dorene Vandermeer. The vintage Buckram base is  wired and covered with satin. On the satin are Venice lace leaves tapering down the edge and hear the front of the hat. Within the leaves are tiny Swarovski crystals & 3mm cream pearls. To top it off are two Ivory ostrich feather tips.

The veils

The bridal illusion veils are both cut in the same fashion I do my birdcage veil in a 16” length semi-full veil. The bridal illusion makes for a translucent veil.

The front veil can be turned back or left over the face. Perfect length for “the kiss” and for the reception.

The second veil has lovely scattered Swarovski crystals and Fred Frankle pearls on the body.

Bobby pin placement system and Shape-able hat make for a customizing fit.
