Customize your very own extraordinary Teardrop hat. Dorene uses the finest milliner techniques to create a hat that will stand the test of time. Each hat is made to order and will have your impute creating a hat that will be a one-of-a-kind piece.
The base starts with vintage buckrum, which we wire into the shape of a drop of water. The hat is then covered with rich silk (you can pick silk color on the drop down) then covered with your choice of lace appliqués. Try dancing dragonflies on the silk or falling leaves. What about two butterflies or a group of three flowers? There are many options. We can also over lay with vintage netting lace if you prefer something with a simple flare. You can add pearls and crystals to the appliqués or netting lace for a nice touch. The bavolet veils attached to the hat at the tip. At the hat tip where the veils gather together there can be a subtle beading bobble (optional) or feathers if you desire. Once the wedding is over you can pull the front veil back for a snooded look. Hat will have a Bobby pin placement system under the hat and alligator clip. This Hat is flexible and can be gently manipulated to create different arches for your head and placement. Standard size.

If you pick the applique and are wanting a contrasting color please let us know and we will dye that for you. Dorene will contact you directly after order to get all the details ironed out perfectly before the order of the hat hits production. Allow 8 weeks for production of your hat with room for shipping. International customers plan on 3-4 weeks shipping time.
