Fashioned after Grace Kelly's marvelous crown, we have created a spin that will be sure to please the bride looking for a vintage reproduction with a modern twist. The base is wired creating a headband style hat with a subtle halo crown rise. The hat is covered in vintage buckrum, making this a heirloom quality piece. We then cover the hat with silk & luxurious vintage netting lace. Beading is then added to the hat which adds a unique touch.
The combination of beading will be up to your style and theme. We recommend the smaller 3mm to 4mm size beads along with seed beads and bugle beads. Try pearls and crystals. Demo hat was beaded with pearls, crystals, buttons and sea shells. Want a touch of pink? Add pink crystal Czech bell flowers to your mix. The illusion Bavolet veils will be cut in a below the nose or below the mouth length. Model is wearing the below the mouth, but when allowed to rise the veil will be fuller at the top and will give you a below the nose look. The veil can be snooded back for a second look and is attached to the hat.
