Why are your prices so low?
Great question! I would ask, "Why are there prices so HIGH!"
Our prices are low because you get them directly from the designer, no middle man. This gives you the bride an unbelievable advantage, low prices coupled with a customized look.
Does this mean we use cheap lower quality materials! NEVER!! We use real Swarovski products and crystals, pure bridal illusion and French netting, the highest quality ribbons and lace. When we state vintage, it is vintage. Dorene loves to search for beautiful & different materials, and she will often crack open her own collection of Venice lace and Antique buttons to give you the look you are dreaming of.

We also offer the whole veil. This means when you order a custom birdcage you get the veil and comb decoration that is unique to your own gown and personality.

How do I order a custom birdcage or veil?
This is my top question, so I thought I would make it simple so you don't have to dig around our site looking for the page that you will need to order your custom birdcage veil.

What is the difference between a Blusher, Angle or Bandeau birdcage?
The thing they have in common is they are all made with the same netting but are very different from each other.
The Blusher style veil is "fuller". The comb decoration is worn to the back however can be turned to wear at the side. It is available in the fuller look with a 18", 16", & 15" and is cut at about 30" wide. It is sewn on a 2" comb with the teeth facing down.
The Angle Veil (also known as Kirsten's veil) is in a tighter 15" long 28" wide. The comb is worn to the side at an angle. The veil in on a 1" comb facing towards the head.
The Bandeau veil. This veil looks like it could be a regular Birdcage but is it very different. It is a 18" long veil and 9" wide. There are two side placement clips, or combs and has another comb that slips through the tulle on the top of head to hold down the middle of the veil. This is a tighter look. The price point is more because of the extra combs.
What is your turn around for a veil?
This depends on what you order but I would give yourself about 2-4 weeks. My orders are processed and immediate production begins with confirmed payment. International patrons please allow 6-8 weeks .
Do you allow returns?
Due to the delicate nature of our items and the custom design process we do not allow returns. We do however work with you to make sure we create a veil that will fit correctly and will be created with items that will fit your personal style. We urge you to ask as many questions as you need to before starting your veil. You may send photo's of yourself, gown, measurements and material sample can be requested. Dorene is there for you & will walk with you through the process of creating your dream veil!
