Morgan's wedding

Morgan and Juan

I received a note from Morgan and it was so lovely I thought you may like to hear her story!

Thank you so much for the veil!
I've attached some photos, they really made our little courthouse wedding perfect.

Juan and I are pretty much just VERY thankful to be married, period!
For the past year and a half I have been living far away from him and my hometown of Sacramento, California. Finally we have been able to save up enough money to have a little wedding here in Atlanta and to move me back to California.

We always knew we wanted a simple wedding. I was inspired by vintage wedding photographs of couples being married during World War II.  Many were unable to even afford a wedding dress & most of their photos were taken standing outside the courthouse or church steps. The happiness in their eyes tells it all. Their enjoyment came just from being married, not from all the extravagant additions to weddings that our culture today demands.

I wore a Watters and Watters bridesmaid dress in Antique and (because it was January and FREEZING outside) a vintage coat that I have had for years now and my favorite shoes. I made my bouquet myself as well as our little wedding cake.

I can't imagine it turning out anymore beautiful and special!
Thank you for being a part of our special day : )

Morgan wore a Cage with a Low bun placement. This gave her the slight rise to the front and the tighter fit. What a stunning look for a sweet bride and wedding.
