Tricia's wedding

 |
Tricia & Delfino
As you can see from my wedding pictures I wasn't the typical bride, I didn't want to be like everyone else so I found a dress I loved and made my wedding around it. But in order for my dress to look like I was the bride, I needed the perfect veil.

I had gone to a couple other sites but they would not change the look of a veil nor would they color match and this was key to my wedding outfit. Dorene from the beginning was quick to respond to all my questions, was creative in matching my crystal hair clip to my antique embellishment on my dress and well I think the end product proves it...it was perfect!

I thought my family and friends would be shocked with my non traditional dress and veil but I got the complete opposite reaction. Everyone loved it and quite a few of my friends and family said they loved the idea of color.

Our reception was in my parents beautiful backyard in which only 50 of our close relatives and friends attended.

Our food was catered by our favorite restaurant and our cake, well this was untraditional too, we had a purple wedding cake (Ube cake which is a purple yam). This simple wedding was my dream wedding.

Everything turned out how I wanted it and more importantly I married the man of my dreams, life has been great, but that's what you get when you marry your best friend.

Red is a tricky color to match. With a swatch and a photo I went to work. Taking the lead from the broach on her gown I created a piece on the comb that complimented it (shown in the past comb gallery). The veil took her look and made it totally unique and gave her that bridal veil.
