Tamara's Wedding
 |

I knew for sure that I wanted a birdcage veil after I had seen photographs of many different styles. I knew I was not a traditional veil kind of girl, and we were getting married in a very non-traditional venue (a converted soap factory).

I found Dorene's website, and immediately fell in love with her designs. I decided on an Ivory angle veil with a custom made comb.

Creating the comb was very fun. Dorene made great suggestions based on my ideas, but she definitely let me create a design that was uniquely my own. I was able to incorporate the colors of my wedding in to my comb (as I loved to describe them "chocolate brown, smokey blue, with ivory and gold accents).

The veil was a great hit with both my new husband and my guests, and went perfectly with my gown and coat (we had a winter wedding).

My photographers (6 of Four Creations in Atlanta, Ga) did an excellent job capturing the veil, as well as the rest of the wedding.

After the ceremony was over I "converted" my veil by removing the netting. I am now able to wear the comb in my hair whenever I like. Thank you, Dorene, for helping to make the veil that I wanted.
