Like many other brides, I fell madly in love with my dress. I knew from the very beginning that I was going to accessorize it with a fabulous birdcage veil and I knew that I was going to order it from Unveiled Bridal Designs as I had been stalking the site for quite some time! I was so excited when my veil finally arrived, that I racked my brain for reasons to wear my dress and veil more than once.

I stumbled upon Rachel's blog one day, and realized that I had to contact her for a unique photo session. I soon learned that not only is she known for capturing the elegance of ethnic weddings and traveling all over the world at a bride and groom's request for destination weddings, she also has style and personality that are so unique and vibrant they shine right through her photos.

Rachel had been eyeing an old bowling alley and burned down nightclub for a shoot. I loved the idea, and set up a time to meet her there; dress, veil and plenty of unique accessories in hand. I really wanted the shoot to capture my true personality, and I wanted to walk away with a plethora of images showcasing my dress and veil. Heck, you're only a bride once and you spend so much time making decisions about what to wear!

It was also a great opportunity to try some extreme hair and makeup that I probably wouldn't attempt on my wedding day and most importantly let loose and have fun! I must say, that I had more fun that day than I had in a while. I even had my mom accompany me and I think she really enjoyed being able to share this time with me as I did with her, knowing that my wedding day is going to fly by!

Rachel truly made me feel like a queen that day and I had a blast running around in my wedding day attire! The hardest part now is keeping these wonderful photos from my fiance until after the wedding! This was a great opportunity and I would recommend it to every bride! It really gives you a chance to focus on yourself for a day, and I must say it felt really good!
